Hi Deborah! Thank you for your comment. I'm not sure if you are aware, but most of us go into a "trance" state during activities such as watching movies, driving a car (it's the reason why you can end up in your driveway without any recollection of how you've gotten there) and doing simple tasks such as listening to music. If we are to protect our subconscious mind, instead of worrying about these youtube videos, I'd be more worried about embeddable commands that are placed in a lot of the advertising we see, scrolling social media and even the music you listen to. (It's the reason I had to replace my workout music with motivational speeches, audible books and podcasts). I noticed during some workouts I literally would go into the "zone" or a trance like state and I needed whatever messaging I was listening to during that time to be positive.

Every single day, our subconscious mind is intaking messages that aren't favorable. If you truly want to give people the message to not tamper with their subconscious then you'd literally have to tell them to log off all devices.

If this didn't help pull me out of my creative rut (which lasted over 4 months), I wouldn't have suggested it but since it was a technique that has personally helped me (not only recently) but throughout the last 7 years of my life, I decided to mention it. I also used hypnotherapy to break free from the trauma of an incident that happened in my teens.
